First time I’ve been a REAL student at a school since 5th grade! I’m excited to be attending, since I was originally set to only take an Art class and was planning to attend the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash for ALL my high school required classes. My dad had it worked out where I received dual-credit for all my college courses as high school classes. So I would have graduated from high school with a diploma and also receive my Associates Degree and be getting close on my Bachelors Degree. After committing to go to CHCA and play ball, my parents later in the summer had a long talk with me about going to college and being only 14. The real downside at CHCA would be that the only people that I would know would be basketball players and kids in my Art class. Then at college, it would be all 18 to 50 year olds… I would have NO social life!!!!! So they left the final decision up to me and I decided to attend CHCA and take some homeschool classes and wait for college until later! It had come down to CHCA and Badin that would let me take one class and be homeschooled and attend UC Blue Ash.
I love being in school with friends, even though the academics are tough and we really do have 3 hours of homework EVERY night! CHCA facilities are ridicules, a great weight room, brand new track and football turf! I do team conditioning everyday and workout with Carlton Gray seven day a week! Can’t wait for season to start…
